5 - Connecting MetaMask Wallet

Connecting your MetaMask to the Moonsama Marketplace

Now that your MetaMask application is fully installed and configured, you are ready for the next step in your journey. You are going to connect your MetaMask application to the Moonsama Marketplace on https://marketplace.moonsama.com. This section will explain this specific step in detail for PC or laptop and mobile.

Please note: Although it can be very convenient to have the Moonsama RPC Networks on mobile, please note that we recommend to interact with https://marketplace.moonsama.com/ through PC or laptop.

1 Connecting your MetaMask to the Moonsama Marketplace on PC or Laptop

  1. First step is to open your most trusted browser and unlock your MetaMask if needed, click the Extension icon (shown below) and provide your password.

If your MetaMask is already unlocked skip to the next step.

  1. Next step is to start URL https://marketplace.moonsama.com/. This will open up this page which is the Moonsama marketplace:

  1. The next step is to initiate the connection process, you do this by clicking the "Connect" button in the top right corner:

  1. Now you will see a pop-up where you choose the wallet you want to connect, click on MetaMask:

  1. MetaMask will pop-up and ask you to select a MetaMask account for connection to the website, tick the account and click "Next":

  1. Next MetaMask will show a new pop-up and ask will ask you if you wish to connect, it also informs you that this will enable the connected site to view your addresses: click "Connect" to make the connection

  1. If your MetaMask extension was set not set to the Moonriver or Moonbeam network you will get the below pop-up in the website:

If your MetaMask was already set to either the Moonriver or Moonbeam network, you will not get this popup, skip to step 9.

  1. Once you select Moonriver or Moonbeam in the popup, MetaMask will ask you for confirmation, click "Switch network":

  1. Now you have successfully connected your MetaMask extension to the Moonsama marketplace, you should see your abbreviated public wallet key and your MOVR/GLMR balance in the top right corner:

Congrats! Now you are ready to get acquainted with the marketplace and if you see something you like, you are ready to buy! The next section will explain the marketplace in more detail.

2 Connecting your MetaMask to the Moonsama Marketplace on Mobile

In this section we will discuss connecting your MetaMask Mobile to the Moonsama website.

Although it can be very convenient to have the Moonsama Connected to MetaMask on mobile, please note that we recommend to interact with https://marketplace.moonsama.com/ through PC or laptop.

To connect your MetaMask Mobile to the Moonsama website, you can use roughly the same method as described for PC or laptop. However before you can start with this an additional step is needed.

1. Open the browser in your MetaMask mobile application 👉 Menu -> Browser

  1. Go to https://marketplace.moonsama.com/ the website will immediately trigger the connection request.

  1. Click on the "Connect" button, the website is now immediately connected to you Mobile Metamask wallet.
